Car History 4U needed a web site to provide information to its visitors about the history of the motor car / automobile in an easy to read, comprehensive yet short and uncluttered style. The site provides the basis for the reader to explore the subject in greater depth via the numerous related specialist websites, magazines and books that exist. The site, which lists many car museums, car clubs and car forums, also includes information about environmentally friendly green cars.

Car History 4U already had an idea that an expanding navigation would be the clearest way to display the large amount of links. We also used strong colours to distinguish the different navigation sections, making the site easier to use for visitors.

One of the most crucial aspects of the site was to have a content management system which Car History 4U would be able to easily update. We used the Joomla content management system which offers a lot of flexibility for our client and makes it easy to update their website.
