Smerud Medical Research conduct clinical trials to advance new medical compounds, helping pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies introduce their products faster to worldwide markets.

As an international company, Smerud wanted their website to look professional and clean, and also be content managed so they would be able to update the site in-house.

The site was built with Joomla which is a flexible content management system and enables Smerud to update the site themselves.

It was important to find an image that reflected what Smerud offer, without showing a specific object. We found an abstract image which adds depth to the site, and helps compound the marketing messages.

Smerud has many different locations across Europe, and we created an interactive flash map to help show their reach. Flash design can help to bring a site to life, and provide extra interest for the visitor.
