The following describes the process we use for our web design projects.

1: Consultancy

The first step in successful web design is initial consultancy which defines the scope, target audience and aims of the project. We understand equally the importance of developing or the continuation of your brand.

2: Proposal

Once we are clear about the project and its aims, we create a proposal based on the information we have been given, together with our ideas, fees, a project plan and timescales.

3: Proposal Approval and Initial Payment

Once the proposal has been approved, we send out an initial invoice and a service agreement form. The initial invoice is a percentage of the project and dependant on the scale: 50% for projects under £1000, 30% for projects over £1000. Once the payment has been received and the agreement has been signed, we can start developing your website.

4: Site Map

The creation of the sitemap defines the navigation, how the user will travel through the site, the functionality on each page and allows us to optimize the experience.

5: Graphic Design

The project then enters into the graphic design stage, which ensures your project looks as good as possible. We also take great care ensuring the design matches with your current brand. Or if your brand needs new direction, our bespoke graphic design will reflect your aims.

6: Production

After the graphic design has been approved, we start to build the site. The first part of this stage is to build the home page to look exactly like the graphic design. We then build the inner pages and report our progress at regular intervals.

7: Testing and Output

The site is tested thoroughly to make sure the site works on a variety of browsers, and performs as expected. The site is then made live for everybody to see.

8: Support

The work doesn't stop once the project has been output. We can update your website as little or as often as it requires, at your request.
